Carmen Marsans
(Cuba) Carmen Marsans is Vice President of Client Relations for Comunicad, where she manages programs for corporate clients and special projects with international organizations. She brings 30 years of experience in national leadership course development, labor/management education, and Hispanic Outreach programs. Prior to joining Comunicad, Carmen worked for Fleishman-Hillard as part of the strategic planning team that helped manage the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, developed bilingual materials, and helped manage Hispanic public relations efforts.
Being my two sons' Mom! I am also very proud of my resilience, determination and being able to take leaps of faith, even when no one believed the outcome would be positive.
Believing my son had placed a provocative Halloween picture of me in his Facebook page and that one of my clients had seen it.
How we support each other and how we respect each other's expertise and uniqueness. I love the family atmosphere and our true concern for each others' needs, and especially how we can laugh under the most stressful circumstances.
Besides family and friends, I would miss a hot shower, my tweezers, my blow dryer, my shaver, my self-tanning lotion, my high heels, a good book and a good glass of red wine!
Self-centeredness; selfishness; arrogance; laziness; people who are envious and insensitive.
Walk through my neighborhood trail, which I consider sacred ground; exercise; spend time with family; watch movies; read; write in my journal; and if I have over a week, definitely travel—hopefully to a place where I can see the ocean.
